18by Vote is a nonpartisan, youth-led organization that helps 16, 17, and 18-year-olds understand how, when, and why to vote.
18by Vote creates sustainable civic leadership among young people who have been historically excluded from positions of leadership and power. Founded in response to low youth voter turnout in the 2016 General election, we have since activated hundreds of thousands of young people across the country to engage civically. Over the past year, we launched a 6-month-long Civic Leadership Program, paid and supported youth leaders in 6 key states- where youth voters had a major impact on the midterm election- and created meaningful relationships with young people, local organizations & voters around the nation.
The 18by Vote's newest youth-led community media project, Youth Movement Media, will be used as a space to uplift youth voices, highlight important news and updates relating to youth civic engagement, and share the work of young people across the nation!
